Seeking assistance with Print Settings panel. In Page Setup I have indicated Format for "Any Printer."

I am using the printer at Costco, a Fuji Frontier LP 5700. I have installed the ICC profile for it for matte paper.

In Print Settings, LR is not allowing me to add any printer other than the one I use for documents, a simple black and white HP printer.

However, there is no way to add any other printer unless I have the drivers, I guess. If I try to add the Fuji print, I type-in the name and hit enter and nothing happens.

Under Print Job I want to print to Printer. My question is, What do I do about the Print Settings panel? I can't get it to recognize the Fuji printer from Costco. What is the way to address this matter? Thank you.

This is not exactly what you want but it is the proper way to print from Lightroom to a 3rd party print service like Costco: https://alloyphoto.com/plugins/export-to-costco-photo-center/

Thank you. I'm fine using the Costco site and have printed lots of stuff there. Just going through steps to print images that are closer to how they look on screen. I use a SpyderPro 5.2 to calibrate and adjust for ambient lighting, and am following instructions best I can. Just hung up on the Printer Settings for now.

You can only use a printer driver when the printer is physically connected to your system. You need to upload LR export 300dpi JPEG image files to Costco that have been properly sized and soft proof adjusted. Please read this post and let me know if you have any questions:

Thank you. I'm sure the answer is contained within the page, however I'm looking for a more direct solution. I seem to have found it by deciding to go with Printing to jpeg file (rather than to printer) in the Print Job panel (in the Print module) and including the Costco ICC and finally clicking Print to File (and saving the image). I've created images with various tweaks, especially to brightness and file resolution. Now all I have to do is print them at the local Costco and see what I got. Thanks again.

Using the LR Print module with Print to> JPEG is what you want to use. It also allows selecting both the appropriate Costco profile for your local store's printer and paper type AND whether to use Perceptual or Relative Intent based on your Soft Proof. You can also create the JPEG file using the LR Export module, but its rendering Intent is fixed (Perceptual Only).

There are some additional steps you'll need to follow to insure your prints are "closer to how they look on screen." This includes applying Soft Proof adjustments using the paper type profile for your Costco store and selecting 'Auto Correct' OFF when placing your order. Also if printing a poster you'll need to use the Epson printer profiles provided for your store AND remove the LR embedded color profile using PS before uploading the JPEG file.

More information at the link I provided.
