Report of an issue in "conditional action"

Dear Sirs,
Today in class I have noticed one issue which has scientific contradiction and needs to be clarified.

While choosing 8 bits per pixel (color depth 8 bits) in "conditional action" section then it runs for files with 8 bits per channel.
For instance RGB pictures have 3 channels.
For RGB pictures 8 bpc will be 24 bpp.

Then is not correct scientifically.

Best regards

To clarify :
Its just a simple copy writing error - there's no such thing as "bits pr. pixel" - it should be "8 bits/Channel" etc like in other PS dialoges. yes it should be fixed ...

It's standard industry nomenclature to only define the number of pixels PR CHANNEL since an image can have any number of primary color-, spot- or alphachannels ...
