I have High performance PC, low performance Tablet-PC and mini desktop PC.

I'm in trouble with the slow specification PC because the thumbnail generation is always very slow.
If you share thumbnails created with high-performance PCs and use them on low-spec PCs, the working environment will be very good.
Especially for RAW images it will be a big difference.
Please examine the above function by all means.

Greetings Abell,

I checked with the team and thumbnails are currently server-rendered. In many cases, we do retrieve the thumbnail rather than render it locally. You do have to be online for this to work and if you are offline, the thumbnail will be rendered locally.

If you use your lower-performance machine do you see any speed difference in thumbnails when you are online versus offline?

Thanks Rikk,

Sorry, I use a Lightroom "Classic" CC. When you synchronize with Lightroom classc cc, thumbnails will be created on each PC. I thought that would be great if this could be shared by the server.

Ok. I will transfer the tag on this post from Lightroom CC to Lightroom Classic CC.
