LIGHTROOM Renaming at publish still not working properly!

Here are the steps

Create Publish Service to hard-drive.
Tell Adobe to rename the files with numbering.
26 files in total, LR renames 9, leaves others alone.

Delete published files, change rename settings.
LR still only changes 9 files, but uses the old renaming scheme.

Apparently an issue that Adobe can not fix?

Oh, and not even a proper procedure for bug reports, nor from within LR nor at Adobe.com.

Oh, and this box asks me how this makes me feel... That is so friendly!

Sure, and that will bring you to http://feedback.photoshop.com/photosh... which is just another forum...

Guess you felt pretty smart for a few moments :-P

It is the same forum as where you are reading this. Which is where you are and where you have posted your bug report already. The fact that it is a Forum does not mean it isn't a proper bug reporting procedure.

I was pointing you to how to get there from the Adobe.com website which was one of the struggles of which you were complaining.

As for your bug, I can verify that I see the same behavior.

:-) Sorry to disagree with you, Rikk... A proper bug report procedure is something completely different...

Think Bugzilla, for instance.

And that we see the same behaviour is nice and comforting, but it drives me nuts at the same time, because many see the problem and have been doing that for a long time.

Let ́s face it, renaming files - on any OS - is not the most difficult task one can imagine, so why on earth Adobe has not been able to address this is beyond me. (and don ́t get me started about noise reduction ^_^ )

It doesn't matter whether you agree or not. This is where you report the bugs and this is how you do it. "Proper" is subjective.
