With LR 3.5, with stacks (collapsed) in a folder, when I want to rename the files (F2), the program renames only "visible" pictures, not the pictures under the first one of each stack. Bug ?

This is, depending how you look at it, by design or a bad design.

Selecting a collapsed stack does not select the entire stack, so only the top photo will be part of the selection passed to any command.

You should expand the stack and then apply the command.

I wouldn't consider this a bug - one may very well just want to rename the top picture, and one can expand the stack to rename the photos underneath (having to expand the stack to rename just the top photo doesn't seem nearly as intuitive).

With the exception of moving the stack, *all* operations on a collapsed stack affect only the top photo. Most of the time, this is a good thing.

Still, an option to target photos underneath without expanding would be nice. On the other hand, once one knows and accepts how it works, expanding the stack first becomes second nature...

I believe there was a feature request for a one-click (or keystroke) way to expand a stack and select each item in it(?) - that would be convenient - maybe shift-click the handle to expand-and-select?

An option to change between selecting the visible photos or all the photos including collapsed photos in stacks will be nice!
