Rename files in Library and Develop Module.
I frequently hop between LR and PS - I do the majority of the base editing in LR, and I love it. But I'll use PS for layer work.
What happens is I end up having photo.edit1.tiff, photo.edit2.tiff, etc etc.

What I would love is the ability to rename the files, so I can then name them Photo_Tree_removed. Photo_Noise_Reduction. Photo_Brighter_eyes.
Then I'd have a much easier time months later when I come back, and decide to alter something, of knowing where in the workflow I need to step in.
Thanks - I love the tools, this is the major feature I keep hoping to see in each release.

After editing an image in Photoshop from Lightroom, you can do a Save As instead of a Save. When saving it in the same fysical Lightroom folder as the original, it allows you to rename the file but also that Lightroom 'see' this renamed Photoshop file and it will automatically be included in the Library.

All stars and code coloring metadata are inherited but not the assignment to the same collection as the original. This means an extra step in the workflow.
