Remove the background photo from the new import screen in Lightroom 2015.2

I am not happy with the new import screen in Lightroom. It seems many powerful options I use all the time are now gone (move upon import anyone?) or take way to many clicks to reach but those are addressed in other threads. I get that it needed to change but this is not for the better. However one thing I really dislike is the initial splash screen with somebody else's photo behind it. I don't want to see other people's images at any time in Lightroom except perhaps the initial splash screen where it makes some sense.

For those finding this topic, you can turn off the splash screen with the gigantic photo by unclicking "Show "Add Photos" screen" in Preferences->General. I am still shocked at the use of the photo as a screen filling background though. Quite unprofessional.

Perhaps someone will find a way to disable the 'Import" background.

You can disable the 'opening' splash screen in preferences, or create your own. I use a comic image. Make an image smaller than 900x400 pixels, place it in a folder called "Splash Screen" within the Lightroom presets folder-voila!

The initial Splash Screen is user-customizable: https://fleetingglimpseimages.wordpre...

As for the background of the Import screen, I am unaware of an easy way to change it at this time.
