When documents are photographed in public libraries it is laborious to remove shading using contrast and brightness, and also applying the selection tool. Is there a faster way to clean up a document. The shading can be random in different shots.

It's pretty hard if the lighting is random. There are some techniques you can use if the lighting and frame of your shot remain the same, and you shoot a key image (just the lights on white).

What about the blend if sliders to fade it out. If you can point me to an example I'd love to work it out!
