Lightroom Classic CC: Remove from collection misses images

Running LR Classic (8.0) on Windows/10 machine.  When in the Library Module, with a collection (or Publish Service Collection) selected, If I select several images and then use the context (right click) menu to "Remove from Collection", many time it doesn't remove all the selected images from the collection, but rather several stay in the collection and still selected.  I then have to repeat the "Remove from Collection" operation again.  Sometimes (when starting with a large set of selected images) I'll have to it a 3rd time to get them all removed.

I know this is not an earth shattering issue, especially as there is a somewhat easy workaround, but I do want it placed on the Bug list so it can be fixed in the future.  Also, I didn't notice it as being fixed on the 8.1 release.

Thanks -- Dan

Are the images which are not removed from inside of a stack?

No they are not inside a stack.  They are quite visible in the grid and filmstrip, and Selected.

Reading through your original post it isn't clear if you tried this using 8.1 or if you are just noticing it wasn't called out as a fixed bug. Do you still see the issue on 8.1?

I have not upgraded to 8.1 yet so don't know the behavior there.  However, the problem first started showing up (or at least I first noticed it) somewhere in the 7.x era (can't recall which dot release).  Silly me, I was assuming that it was a known bug and would be fixed in 8.0 but it was not so I posted here.
