Lightroom: Remember panel group settings by view in Library

LR seems to remember your Left & Right panel group settings for each module such that when you return to that module the L & R panel groups are either shown or hidding based on the last time you were in that module (at least for Library and Develop, and perhaps the others as well). This is a wonderful feature.

However, within the Library module the seperate views (grid, Loupe, compare, Survey) seem to share a common setting for L & R panel groups. When I'm in the grid view, I always have the right panel group visible. However when I switch to Loupe, Compare, or Survey views I always want both the left and right panel groups to be hidden, thus maximizing the image area. So, I'm constantly clicking to hide or show these panel groups as I switch views. I fully panel group understand the L & R panel group options of auto hide/show, auto hide, manual and Synch oppposite, but these do not solve the problem.

My request is to extend the same segregation currently used between modules to the Libary views as well such that each view has, and remembers, the last settings for the panel groups in each view. This will save me a lot of time and clicks. I think others may agree (but I guess I'll find out shortly)

Thanks -- Dan
