Trying to reinstall Photoshop CC 2014 with Adobe Creative Cloud. The install hangs my entire system at 81%. The disk access light is on solid. The system clock isn't even counting. I left it hanging for over two hours. I had to force a power off to continue. So I then uninstalled all apps and Adobe Creative Cloud. Ran your cleaner tool. Reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud, then attempted to install Photoshop CC 2014 again. Same problem.

I had been running Adobe Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC 2014 on this PC for a number of months. For what ever reason I needed to remove Photoshop. Now I cannot reinstall it.

Running on a Toshiba Satellite, Windows 7 Premium.

Everything seems to be fine on my desktop system, but then I have not tried to reinstall Photoshop.

That means that there is something wrong at the system level - possibly a corrupt disk data structure, or corrupt registry database.

I kind of suspected this when I asked. I then suffered through the hours of chkdsk of a 500gb disk with over 200gb of used space. There were no errors during the run, but at the end it flashed on the screen there were a small number of errors that it corrected. I say flashed because the error scree wasn't up for more than a second. After that I ran a registry cleaner which found very few errors as I had already run it earlier in the day.

Anyway, this afternoon I attempted to install Photoshop CC 2014 again and it installed with no problem.

Thanks, Chris, for saying what I needed to hear. If the above hadn't worked I would have probably formatted and reloaded my system drive. Which I still need to do.
