I had to reset my laptop. It kept all files but wiped out programs. After reinstalling lightroom 6 I was informed that I have too many installations. I don't. One of the installations was on the laptop that I tried to reinstall it on so I can't de-register it. How do I get around this problem? I now have 30 days before it is no longer able to be used.

You just need to contact support at http://adobe.ly/yxj0t6 so they can reset the activations for you.

You can also logon to your account at Adobe and deregister your devices. Go to Manage plans and look for a section labeled Activated devices.

Hi Kevin,

We have rectified the issue from the back end activation server. Would request you to please try to activate Lightroom again with the same serial number.

Regards,
Gautam
