The Refine Edge command in Photoshop CC occasionally leaves artifacts in layer masks when you use the Property Panel to modify the edge in a layer mask (I have not observed artifacts when a layer mask is first created, only when altering a layer mask). These artifacts manifest as one or more gray regions in areas of the layer mask that should be black.

I created an action that reproduces the problem on my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.8.4) and I have a .psd annotated with layer comps for you, not sure how to send you the action and .psd.

In my opinion this problem is most likely to affect users who isolate subject matter and place it on a white background. I suspect many users will not even notice the bug.

I've attached a .jpg that shows artifacts I reproduced. It's an inverted form of the mask rather than a copy of the mask itself. Please advise how to send you the .psd and action files.
