Bridge: Recovering appended keywords that are not appended anymore

Hello every body

Perhaps this issue has been seen but i do not find the thread.
I moved my pictures from one external disk to another external disk and Bridge is not finding anymore the keywords when I do "search". Like if they are not appended anymore.

Si I have manually open each folder with Bridge, then Bridge append  keywords I created with it and I can find them later doing  "search"
But I have hundred and hundred of folders. I cannot open one by one manually so Bridge could reappend all keywords I created. (With Bridge I only use Bridge to create keywords)

I'm a photographer so I have 8 To of RAW and JPGS of pics.  I cannot believe that I have to open manually all my folders of my 8To collection so Bridge recover the keywords.

Is there something like a refresh or whatever so Bridge re-update ? perhaps  I have not checked an option to automatically append on someplace?

I'm on Bridge CC 9.0.2.219

Thanks in advance

Tools->Manage Cache and build a cache for the folders that you are working with.

Thanks for your answer...

it means that no cache was being used or built by default? so each time I changed a drive or reinstalled it the keywords dis-appended themeselves?

This is the second time it happens to me, First time was after a major soft upgrade. I thought was the upgrade.... but then it was simplu because there was no cache built?

I did the cash rebuilt, images  load faster, but the keywords were appened, I still have to open folder by folder so keywords can be recognised and  appended. This is going to be long :(

Keywords are written into the files themselves. I'm not understanding what the problem is?

That Bridge does not find them unless I open folder by folder and appends them almost picture by picture
I created these keywords with Bridge. I changed hard drive and when I do search on any existing keyword. It finds nothing.

Bridges cannot find any of the existing keyword until I actually open folder by folder. Like not being able to refresh its memory
Perhaps it is normal behavieur and I would not mind if I didn't have 8To of pictures and years of indexing them.
