BRIDGE/LIGHTROOM: Record label colour rather than label name in image metadata

A huge flaw in adobe metadata sharing across adobe apps is label names vs colours.
Where I work we have multiple users accessing the same network-stored images, videos, AI and INDD files. We use label and star ratings heavily in Bridge and Lightroom. The file metadata record the label NAME rather than label COLOUR. This means if one app has a different name (or spelling mistake) in it's label field, we lose a lot of effective metadata. LR and Bridge are very poor at working with labels names outside of its own individualised set.
Please change the metadata field to record label colour - ideally also the label name from the app which assigned the label to the file, but this is less important.
Label colour is more important as this is universal. Label name is individual, therefore less valuable in a shared environment.
