Recent updates to CC changed my Camera Raw color space settings

Recent updates to Photoshop CC and/or Bridge changed my color space settings to Adobe RGB from sRGB. I was halfway through editing a session when I realized I was in the wrong color space. To say I'm irritated is an understatement. Updates should NOT change settings. Please advise if there is a way to prevent this from happening with future updates or if I need to make a note to check this after each update (though undoubtedly I will anyway after this hard learned lesson).

Updates don't change the color settings.
The only way to change the color settings is to delete all preferences from the preferences folder, or for someone on your system to manually change the color settings.

I have no idea how it could have happened then. Everything always opened in ACR as sRGB prior to updating. I wish I knew what caused it since I definitely didn't mess with any preferences and no one else uses my computer. :-( It just sucks. No chance it was a glitch and that the updates deleted the preferences?

There could have been a glitch in the ACR code that failed to handle preferences correctly - but I haven't heard of anyone else seeing the same problem (and we would have heard).

Yeah, you're right. *sigh* All well. I'll just be extra paranoid about checking from now on. Thanks.
