Lightroom CC: Re-sync a deleted collection on my desktop?

Hi All,

My desktop install of Lightroom CC will not sync an album that I deleted (on this client only). The album still exists and sinks correctly on my mobile but is in a perpetual "sync" on the desktop application.

I can sync new/other collections from Lightroom classic without any problems to the mobile and desktop applications.

I tried renaming the collection in Lightroom classic, the name change flowed through on the mobile and desktop but still shows perpetual sync, ie no photos in the album within the desktop client.

Have also uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom CC (with remove preferences) on the desktop but still no change.

Tried de-selecting "sync this collection" in Lightroom classic, it removed it from the mobile, then re created correctly on the mobile with the content. On the desktop it removed the album and the album re-appeared when I restarted the sync in classic, but same problem - no content and perpetual sync in desktop Lightroom CC.

Is there something I need to delete so it can "forget" I deleted the album and therefore just see it as a new collection to be synced?

I have heaps of room in the cloud so storage is not a problem.

Running Mac OS Mojave.

For any looking for a solution to this issue:

Was resolved by "refreshed the local cache files by moving the directory which has all the content in it to the desktop in a folder and Lightroom CC application re-synced the images"
