Elements 13 Organizer: Raw image that I've edited into a jpeg is not saving

Edited RAW image is not saving into Organizer. I have PSE 13 and have had previous versions. today I have a problem I've never had before. I open & edit a RAW image. Then when I try to save the edits as a jpeg (into Organizer, as a version set with the original RAW image), the edited image does not save. It disappears. I have found the edited image (jpeg) in my hard drive and tried to import it from there directly into Organizer. Each time "Import Failed." I have a relatively new Mac and have updated the Mac software.

That looks like you are in the new "adaptative grid" view of the organizer. Just switch back to the old 'detailed view' with the shortcut Ctrl D. Your choice is:
- adaptative grid: all the space is given to the pictures, without filenames, dates or icons to unstack or show version sets. Better view for visual searches (bigger icons or more icons).
- detailed view: file names and dates can be displayed and stacks and version sets elements can be displayed.

You can't import the version sets, since they are already in the catalog, but only hidden in the stacks or version sets.

I think I am already in the detailed view because file names & dates are displayed.  My fear is that something about the PSE 13 program has gotten corrupted.  I wasn't trying to import an entire version set - just the new (i.e., edited) jpg version of the RAW image I had edited.  I tried that only as a work-around.  Previously (for years! - on both PSE 13 & 11 & 9 - all I had to do with an edited RAW image was save it as a jpg (giving it a somewhat new name) & hit save...& then it appeared in Organizer, in a version set with the original RAW image.  Once I am sure I liked the edited jpg version I usually delete the RAW image.  I do appreciate your help - thank you.

Ann,
Did you upgrade to version 13.1?
I think you are right, I just checked with the 13.0 version and got the same result. I am pretty sure that was a bug corrected in versions 13.1 and 14.

I do have 13.1.  And it was working fine just the other day.  Today it's not.  And in both my prior PSEs (9 & 11), it worked.  The idea that I might have to pay for PSE 14 just to fix something that Adobe should fix without charging for it doesn't sit well.  I realize this isn't your problem.  If anyone who works for Adobe ever sees this post, I'd sure appreciate some help without having to pay for a new PSE.
