I have just purchased Photoshop elements 13 on the basis that it supports Canon 7D mk II. However, it does not. Was I mis sold this product or is there something missing?

The 7D Mark II was first supported with the Camera Raw 8.7 plug-in from November 2014.

PSE13 shipped a month or two earlier with ACR version 8.6, so you merely need to update your ACR plug-in using the normal process of Help / Updates in the PSE Editor program.

Yes, you are absolutely right. On checking I found my version was 8.6 as shipped with the installation. I have since upgraded to 8.7 and can process the 7D Mk II raw images.
The frustration was in main due to the fact this was not pointed out by the Adobe person when I went through this on the online chat.

I have just installed elements 13 for my new Canon7dII. As I need acr8.7 I tried to download it from help update and direct from Adope but i see that only 8.6 is there. I have Windows 8, not 8.1 and big anought pc. Why is it impossible to update the elements 13 with 8.7 ??????

PSE13 can be updated to ACR version 9.0 (menu Help / Update).
It's even possible to update manually to 9.1, but that's not obvious.

Hi

I get in the menu Help/Update, but it is not possibel to update.

Each time Photoshop element 13 is started, it invites to install update 13.1. and acr 9.0. AFter install it restarts and asks again to install indefinitely the same update
