Lightroom: Radial Filter should have a blur slider

The new radial filter feature in Lightroom 5 should have a gaussian blur slider. That would truly help isolate subjects in photos. The sharpening slider doesn't blur enough, even when multiple filters are stacked. I know Photoshop can do this but having it readily accessible in Lightroom would be a huge improvement.

I sort of agree, but not Gaussian. Lens blur would be better.

I would be fine with either type of blur, I just find myself using Gaussian blur more often in Photoshop due to its speed. Perhaps having both would be possible.

Blur without grain is of less value to me.

I tend to leave my photos relatively gritty (minimal noise reduction), and blurred areas look unnatural (overly smooth). So, any kind of serious blurring always demands a round-trip to an external editor, to match inherent noise / simulate with grain...

Cheers,
Rob

Prior to posting here I created a similar Adobe Labs forum topic and the feedback has been very positive.
