I understand how the Export > Quick Export works in the latest Photoshop. But there should be an option just as there is in the Export > Export As to include the sRGB profile. I can't believe after all this time, that that option is still not available under Export Preferences.

The thread where I posed this is here:

Yes, you're best off just avoiding Quick Export and Export As... they're buggy and unfinished with no hope in sight.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Photoshop: Embed sRGB profile when using Quick Export and Export As.

For years now, Photoshop’s Quick Export and Export As (which sort of supersedes the legacy Save for Web) allow for converting an image to sRGB but they do not embed the profile. There should be that option like you provided in the legacy Save for Web. All major browsers (Microsoft Edge, Safari and Chrome) when they encounter an RGB image that doesn’t have a profile will on the fly assign sRGB to that image. The only browser that currently doesn’t is Firefox. Firefox allows for it but the default setting has that feature turned off; why, I don’t know. So all major browsers will show non-tagged images pretty consistently except for Firefox. Please Adobe fix this so we have that option of tagging the image. It’s the one reason I hardly ever use Quick Export which is a shame because it’s such a useful export feature.
