Quick export and close as part of an Action

I'm trying to quickly edit and export edited photos.  I have an action already set up to do the following:
apply a camera raw filter with preset settings
place a linked .png on top of the image
resize to a set resolution

those are all working great but I would like to add two more actions to my hotkey.

I would like to do a quick export; I already have the settings worked out I just can't get it to work as part of an action.  I dont care if it overwrites the existing photo file.  When I tried to do it myself it saved everything with the same file name, so newer saves overwrote the same file again and again.

And I'd like to add a "close" to close the tab in photoshop.

I have to manually crop all the photos so I won't be using a batch or script for this.

So my final question is how do I save photos as part of an action?

The new Export As... features are all unscriptable, unactionable, and basically un-automatable.... there's been A LOT of requests like this, but no definitive resolution.

The best I can tell you for your particular workflow would be to simply hotkey the Quick Export menu item through the keyboard shortcut preferences.
