Photoshop: Quick Export an Artboard saves artwork from a different opened file

I have several files opened in Photoshop, including one with four artboards. If I export using rightclick on the artboard layer in the layers panel and select Quick Export (set up to save as JPG), it saves a JPG from a different file (a PNG) that is currently opened. This other file had an active selection, maybe that is relevant.

I fixed this by closing the PNG file.

I'm not sure what happened in your case, but with the Artboard I want to export targeted in the Layers panel, right-clicking and choose Quick Export As PNG exports that artboard regardless of whether or not I have another PNG file, or 2 PNG files, with a selection active. I then tried it with Quick Export as JPG to see if that made a difference. It didn't. Gremlins? You bumped this, so are you still having the same problem?

It must be Gremlins. I can't reproduce it either. I just wanted someone to notice, because it may be relevant for the developers in their efforts to fix bugs surrounding the Quick Export function. So, thank you. :D
