Question: In Certain Instances, the Undo Function Doesn't Revert to Last Modification

For example, I may manually enter the exposure as 2.10, then as 2.20. But, when I undo the 2.20 (using the keyboard shortcut), it takes the exposure down to 2.0. Why is that, and can it be changed?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was able to emulate this in the latest version of Lightroom CC that I just downloaded tonight.
So, I'll usually enter different values for exposure, white balance and tint (i.e., for exposure, 1.10, 1.20, 1.30..., or for WB, 6000, 6250, 6500...) and then I use the undo function to step backwards through these to pick the best one.
As a simple example, say my tint is -5. If I enter +10, then undo that (cmd+z), it goes to +1and not -5 and I don't know why. If it's -5 and I enter -10 and hit cmd+z, it goes to -1.
If my exposure is .80, and I enter, 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3... and then undo, it goes to 1 instead of 1.2.
Can you shed some light on this? Would love to disable this if possible and my workflow would be more streamlined without it.

Hi Tim,

I worked on your issue here. Here is what i tried :
I manually entered the exposure as 2.10, then as 2.20 and 2.30. Then undo the 2.30 (using the keyboard shortcut), it takes the exposure down to 2.20 and then again to 2.10.

I was unable to reproduce it. Is there any step i am missing ?
Could you please elaborate it with a video ?

I assume from your recent post that you are using Lr Classic 8.0. Can you send your system configuration here as well ?

Regards,
Sumeet
