Hello,

As a college instructor at a community college here in Texas, I am developing a new Web Design curriculum that includes two course devoted to Image Editing using Photoshop. I am currently teaching the first Photoshop class right now and I have several students inquiring as to whether they would qualify for the Student Discount for Photoshop CS5 even they may not be "full time" students.

I have reviewed the list of qualifications on the Adobe website and I don't see anything specific to the student and their status as far as full-time vs part-time. As far as I can tell, it's just whether they are enrolled at an accredited institution.

Is it enough for the student to provide proof that they are enrolled in at least one class at such an accredited institution? I.e., they don't have to show their class schedule or anything else?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Bruce,

Lone Star College System is a qualified, accredited institution, so your students would be eligible if they are enrolled for any classes there.

Who is eligible: http://adobe.ly/yzI0iI

I recommend that they use their school issued email address when purchasing and during the validation process (e.g. studentname@lonestar.edu) as this will expedite the validation process and they will receive their serial immediately.

If they don't have a school issued email address, they will need an official school document with their name, the school name and a date that is current within 6-months:

Submitting documents can take up to 3 full business days (it's usually faster, but many kids submit their info on a Friday night and expect their serial on the weekend). Please note, they can install the product using the free 30 day trial option to start using the product immediately.

If they have any questions or issues, free free to point them to this thread and have them contact me directly for assistance.

Hope this helps.
