I don't know about PSE, but in Photoshop, you can use either the Shape Tool or the Pen Tool to create a shape and then active the Type Tool. At this point, you can either add type to the outside of the shape/path, along the edge, or inside the shape/path. Only the text will display.

Thanks,
David

In photoshop elements 10 you could do that with type inside and or outside a path/shape, but pse 6 doesn't have that feature.

You probably have to manually put the type along the shape (brush outline)
in photoshop elements 6.

Not exactly easy to do.

You could put the words on separate layers and then use the transform commands to move the type into place.
