HDR & Panorama
Create either from a selection and it puts the final picture at the end of the current collection, not at the end of the selected pictures that you've just to created the file from - keep it in sequence.

You already have control over the ordering of your photos and whether the HDR/Pano is next to the originals or at the end.

The reason it's at the end is likely that your sort order is set to Added Order, which I believe is the default.

In Library, using the Sort option in the Toolbar below the main image area, you can change your sort order to Capture Time or perhaps File Name, and your derivative photo will be sorted next to its originals.

If the toolbar is not visible press the T key.

If the Sort option is not visible, then click the little inverted triangle at the right end of the Toolbar and put a checkmark next to Sorting.

Hi.
Thanks for your reply.
I didn't know it was sorted that way as default. I had it set to capture time and it still put it at the end. Just tried it again and now it works as expected so not sure what happened.

Are you saying your Sort was set to Capture Time, already, and it still was put at the end, but you got things in your preferred order by initiating a re-sort, setting the Sort to something else then setting it back to Capture Time?  If so, then clicking the sort direction Z-A then A-Z might be the fastest way to initiate a re-sort.

I'm not sure exactly what happened.
I checked my sorting option and it was already set to capture time. I then created a new panorama and it put the new file in the correct location, which is has never done before so i don't know why it did it this time.

Does it matter if you start your HDR or Pano from within Library vs Develop?  Or does it matter if you start up LR in Develop vs if you go over to Library then back to Develop?

It sounds like there could be a bug, somewhere, but unless it's repeatable, I don't know how it'd get fixed.  At least you can get things to sort correctly, somehow.

Hi,
I've just done a bit of testing and i think this must have just been my error. I can replicate what i was getting but only when i change the sort options as you suggested so i don't think there is a bug or change required.
I just didn't know the sorting options affected it.

Thanks
