Photoshop Elements: PSE11 arabic text writing

I am using PSE 11 and can not write arabic text in text boxes in the editor mode. Is there a solution? The OS is windows 7 professional 64 bit, arabic enabled

You can try these PSD templates. They work for CS5 and earlier but not sure about their compatibility with Elements.

Thanks Jeffrey, I have just downloaded the zip file template for Windows. The PSD file is opened normally by PSE 11 editor. I typed normally in Arabic (after choosing Arabic as input language by windows). Then I dragged the layer to the target opened photo. The Fonts were easily changed through the font option of the text box. Thanks.

After the successful solution above I came across another easy one. Open the link http://www.arabic-keyboard.org/photos.... Just follow the instructions to type in arabic then by copy an paste you can transfer it to PSE 11 editor-opened file.

Howdy Mowaffak,

If you want full Arabic support, you might want to look into using the full version of Photoshop. It has many more options than PSE with regard to kashida/tatweels, tashkeel/diacritical positioning, numbers, justification and more!

Look at an evaluation copy for more details...!
