Elements: Crashing when printing on macOS Sierra 10.12

I just ran the newest Mac update, Sierra Version 10.12. Now my PSE14 crashes when I try to print. VERY FRUSTRATED!!! I have had3 techs try to help. Apple techs tried to help too. Nothing is working. I was just told this is a "known issue" and that engineers are working on an update but no one could give me an idea about how long it will take. My options at this point are clearing entire computer and go back to old version on iMac or do the print work-around and save everything to desktop and print from there (which is ok if it's not long term). Is anyone else out there having this crash issue? As far as I know it's an Adobe/Epson printer issue.... Or does anyone have an idea about how long Adobe takes to work out it's bugs?

We Non-Professionals can always fall back on printing with Preview. But when this is all over - hopefully - maybe you can post how the hell this slipped through the beta testing?

Hi Jeff ;) can you give me a ballpark timeline of how long it takes the engineers to work out updates for these types of issues. I'm not asking for a definitive answer but I wish I had an idea just so I can make a more informed decision whether to go back to Using El Capitan (which requires a total erase of my Hard drive). Could it take months, a year?

Certainly not days. Your best course of action would be to stay/go back to El Capitan until the update comes out.

Ok, thank you. I've been preparing my files for that just in case. Didn't want to take the time and then have the update come out the next day ;)

I'm having this problem, too. Just bought PE 14 this summer and don't want to shell out more money for an up-date that will probably have the same problem. Am running Sierra 10.12. I'm very disappointed in Adobe.

I'm having this same issue with Photoshop. I am running Sierra 10.12, Photoshop CC 2015.5.1, and latest drivers for my printer (EPSON WorkForce WF-7610). Crashes everytime I hit print! Please fix soon. Today, Photoshop also crashed when I tried to save a new file. I have never had any issues with Adobe programs crashing on my Mac.

I am having the same issue.  Things worked fine with elements 12 and Yosemite.  I guess sometimes the newest isn't always the best.  Hope an upgrade comes soon.

Hi All,

The print workflow crash is fixed for all versions of PSE in OSX 10.12.2 update. For folks running OSX 10.12.1 or lower, please update to 15.2.

Thanks
Andaleeb
