Elements 12 & 11 downloaded from Apple app store are no longer working

Having issues with PSE 11 and PSE 12. We purchased all versions via the Apple Store a while ago and it was working fine until Monday. Now 12 won't open for anyone at work and 11 will open but will crash when trying to save. Same issue happened back in November. Something to do with a licensing date glitch between Adobe and Apple? Any update when it'll be fixed this time???

Correction, last time it was due to an "Expired Security Certificate"

Elements 11 hanging on save is a known bug in MacOS 10.11. We have notified Apple about this bug, but Apple has not yet fixed it.  (also, a crash and a hang/freeze are completely different behaviors)

For the certificate issue - you have to uninstall and re-download the app to replace Apple's expired store certificate.
