Elements Organizer 10: Crashes at will & now will not import all photos from the card

PSE continuously crashes, all versions that I have owned has had this problem, but 10 is the worst. Now it will not import all of the photos from my card. They do import to LR correctly, but show up as 'broken' in PSE10. I've deleted the broken pictures & reloaded the card several times. Sometimes they show up in the thumbnails only to become 'broken' when I click on them.

What OS version are you using?
What does the detailed crash report say?

On Windows, check the system event viewer or reliability reports.
You're looking for the report with the name of the faulting module.

I've always had problems with PSE 'crashing' or refusing to respond. But it has gotten worse with WIN 10.

Found the event viewer but I'm not seeing anything with Adobe or Photoshop Elements or Organizer in it.

Guess you can't paste anything in here. The error I get is "Elements 10 Organizer has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
