psd file contain deleted (erased) pixels and are missing layer masks when sending a file. how do I keep that from happening?

every time I send in my school work I'm always missing or have deleted pixels and layer masks. If its not that its something else missing. how can I keep that from happening?

its something that is missing. im doing something where i have to use layer mask and when i send it in a file its missing along with pixels.

How are you 'sending' the file? When you save your PSD file, is "Layers" checked in the Save dialog? If not, the file will be flattened.

layers are checked. I send the file through doc share for art institute

It sounds like the doc share you're using is having problems corrupting files. Check with your school's IT department. Always save your files to the local hard drive and then copy it over your network.
