Hi,

I need you help as I'm working a document for a few days now and it seems the psd is corrupted by displaying artifacts everywhere.

I'm in trouble and will put a customer in trouble too.

Here's what happens:

This is visible even during the export. Save as didn't change anything. The layer itself is corrupted whether there is an effect on it or not.

Basically it happens after I tried printing the document and export it as pdf. The PDF export didn't work for a reason I don't know (I think the document is very big so I was out of RAM). So I wanted to do a JPEG export but I saw all images corrupted. So I just exit photoshop without saving, I reopened and all artifacts were still there.

I can't do the whole document again, and I'm about to loose the trust of a client for this. Could you please help me? Thanks you very much in advance

Best Regards

I'm using Photoshop CC.

Looks like some VM tiles were damaged - probably by corruption on disk.
Have you gotten any warnings from Photoshop about problems with the scratch disk?

Hi Chris, appreciate your reply thanks.

Maybe, I don't recall. I do have many messages because of the scratch disk or RAM beeing full. Though I have 16GB of RAM, and 100GB of disk for the scratch...
This is the message I think I got using the export:

How did it got saved in the psd without me saving it?

Hi again.
I was able to cheat the document by brush/paint/content aware every artifacts and replace corrupted images & texts.
I panicked a bit but actually there was not too many things blown. Actually almost everything was corrupdted but I could replace everything quickly.

I'd like to get to the bottom of this as this may happen again.

Thanks in advance for your reply
