PSB printing on Epson P9000..printer spools out canvas instead of printing.I am preparing for an art show later in the week. I have an image prepared to print in a 36x85 on an Epson P9000 printer. It is a panoramic that I have printed from the same work up file only in a 24x58. Everything worked well with the 58 inch print but when I go to print the 85 inch print the printer rolls out blank canvas of 85 inches. I did not have enough canvas on that roll to let it see if it was going to pick up and print after it rolled out a blank. I saved the image as a .psb and a .tif file and it is the same result. The file size is 4.1 GB. I have printed this size before but printed them from a .psd file. Is there something I need to change in Photoshop to not have this happen?

Hi Kreig, I asked out printing engineer. He said there are dragons in the OS and many printer drivers for files exceeds 4GB. Try dropping the resolution a bit to get below 4GB and see if that gives you a print.

Thank you.  I tried dropping it even down under 2 GB and still got the same result.
