Photoshop CS6: Properties panel becomes covered when the palettes resize

A minor annoyance that occurs with the new Properties panel is that it's easy to have the palettes resize so part of the Properties panel is covered up. I want my Curves to be large and in charge, not covered or resized so it's small!

Otherwise, I love how CS6 dynamically handles the palette and image window sizes as I cycle through viewing modes!

You can scale the panel so it's not in scrolling mode. They allowed this panel to scroll in order to allow more flexibility in smaller screen layouts.

Only tangentially related but...

I like how clicking an adjustment layer's icon opens the properties panel. I'd like it if repeating the same would then close it.

I agree with Bruce. The new behavior is very annoying...not all of us have a 2nd monitor for tools and I certainly don't want to expand the panel to use up image real estate. Sorry, it's a backwards step Adobe, especially considering how core the Curves graph is.
