I have a DELL laptop running Win8.1 Pro 64bit with i7-4500, 8G ram, 1TB hard disk, nvidia gt750m, I installed PS CC, the 32bit version runs fine, but 64bit version is freezed just when the ps windows is loaded, a pop up message shows that intel display driver is crashed and recovered automatically, i checked the process manager and found sniffer_gpu.exe is stucked, but if i stop sniffer_gpu.exe, ps cc is still freeing and nothing could i do except stop it.
make it run by nvidia gt750m, not working.
driver is up to date, and if i roll back an older driver, still not working.
64 bit PS is worked fine before i updated to win8.1, so this might be a win 8.1 incompatible error.

Check the driver version, and see if there is a newer version on Intel's website.
The Windows 8.1 updater downgraded the video driver for some people.

the official Intel driver can not be installed, it says that I should go to DELL site to download the driver, then I tried the DELL driver, a warning said the driver I wanna install is older than the working one, and if I downgrade my driver, and PS CC 64bit still won't run, still a pop up says Intel driver crashed and recovered.

OK, so Dell has locked you out of current drivers. You'll have to work with Dell to pick up all the bug fixes that Intel has released.

The problem is solved after installing Intel Graphics Adapter WDDM1.2, WDDM1.3 from Windows Update, the update is automatically installed and some other issue relative to Intel driver is fixed.
