What OS/version are you using?

Do you have any 3rd party plug-ins installed?

Windows 7 Professional Version 6.1 Build 7601 Service Pack 1

I am not sure about 3rd party plug ins....where should I look?

So far I have only used the Organizer part. I used to have PS 9 which had some problems with this, but not like this. I can't tag more than about one or two photos each time before it freezes. I have 39,000 pics on an external terrabyte drive.

Does resetting Editor preferences help? While launching Editor hold down Ctrl+Alt+Delete. You will be prompted to delete the settings file. Hit Yes and procees. Does that get it working ? Thanks.

No, that didn't get anything working for me. It will work for a bit and then freezes.

Just purchased and installed Adobe PS Elements 10. When I launch the Edit program, the mouse becomes unusable. I then have to shut it down using the Task Manager. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on a 64-bit HP Pavilion w/8GB memory. I was running Elements 9 and never had any problems. I am not using any 3rd party plug-ins.
