Implement the ability to set a body mesh from within a game file to act as a tailors dummy. Then when loading .dds files for armour etc into photoshop give the option to have it in 2d or upon the dummy so you can modify, if in 2d allow a second area to show how what you are doing changes on the dummy who is also wearing the .dds template.

When in 3d on the dummy to see changes you doing on the pattern to show on the 2d version but also to select an area of the pattern on the 2d version to highlight on the dummy where that piece is so you can understand what your doing better.

Also when you are on either 2d or 3d view of the pattern to allow the other version to show what effect changes you are doing to the mask has on the actual main rgb pattern above it like a live preview.
