As a Windows MCSE I don't know enough about a Mac OS to help but I do think its an OS or browser problem.  Objectively thinking, did you try another app such as a website builder which previews in a browser?   This could be that both OS and browser is not integrating or being served. I have seen stranger problems with browsers which need to be installed after the OS installation.  Maybe that might give something to go on.  An install of a new browser such as IE might be a good experiment.  Chrome should be more capable than this.

Sierra came out after Elements 14. Elements 15 was designed to run on Sierra and does not have this problem.

Thanks Jeff. I was never advised of your reply although I get ENDLESS email requests from Adobe to BUY AT FULL PRICE an upgrade to 15 or WORSE a subscription. Your succinct answer has cemented my view that I don't care for this company anymore.
LoL I have to calm myself ...Adobe KNEW Sierra was coming out when they sold me Elements 14 ...I'm on High Sierra now. I barely used the program for a year from date of purchase because my MacBook Pro was becoming obsolete & I was waiting to see what Apple came through with in the way of updating or discontinuing their pro machines.

IF I HAD BEEN ADVISED how dumbed down Elements was and the chippy ways they cut out basic features I never would have bought it ...or would have returned it within a day. Thanks ..I am not as concise as you but I feel better for venting ....9 months after the fact LoL Cheers xoxo
