Hi,
I am not a tech wizard, but I am a photographer who is frustrated. Operating on an iMac OSX with a 2.7 GHz intel Core i5, 8 GB 1600 MHz DD R3 I am seemingly experiencing PS File corruption. It seems to have started yesterday without any reason or incident. And it seems to only occur when the text tool is used and then I click on that layer to solidify my text. Below is a fe images of what I am experiencing. I have used images from different cameras, card readers and different external hard drives as well as images saved directly to the iMa : images that are 5 years old and some a year and some last week and everything in between... all images result in the variation of effects as below. Please help. Deadlines seem to come with these problems and I have no clue how to fix this. Thank you for any and all information in advance.
Kindly,
Nicole

What OS version are you using?
Does this problem go away if you turn off GPU drawing in Photoshop (and relaunch the app)?

Nope unfortunately. I have done that several times and it always starts again. Sometimes after a few images edited, but now it seems that I cannot even get any edited without this occurring once I use the text tool. :-(

And now in my attempt to find a work around so I can finish a deadline LR doesn't want to export any images with my watermark on them. The watermark option is checked and when I reopen my file in its saved location, no watermark.

I apologize for all the entries, but I also want to point out that I just updated LR an hour ago and now I am having the watermark not appearing on exported images all of a sudden. NEVER has this been an image. Seems like there is definitely an adobe problem as both products I use are not working properly. What does someone do about this?

For your Photoshop issue, go to Preferences>Performance... and uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" and restart Photoshop. The problem with the bad driver should go away.

Hiya Nicole,
I have a meeting until 3:45 or so today, but afterward, I'd be happy to try and walk through this step by step with you using a web-hosted screenshare. I'll follow up with an email, ok?
Thanks,
David

Based on the UI in the screen shots, it looks like this was occurring with CC 2015.0. Let us know if you're able to reproduce with CC 2015.1.2.
