PS CC 2018 32 bit acr handling?

Does PSCC2018 still not allow editing 32 bit images as a smart object inside photoshop? aka - merge to hdr pro > tone in photoshop. Haven't upgraded versions since acr 9.9 and PSCC version 18.01 because following that disabled 32 bit smart object editing. Curious if that's been implemented back in to 2018 so we at least have the choice of editing as a smart object inside ps or editing via command r in bridge to get to acr where we can only export 16 bit files.
Thank you.

Just updated and still cant find a way to keep the 32-bit info after tone... I second the motion to be able to put the 32-bit images into a smart-object to be able to make changes to the toneing down the road.
But since LR HDR was developed I do not see much development in PS's "Pro HDR" which IMHO is still much better then LR's 16 Bit DNGs. Only problem is that you cant readjust the base image if you made a mistake or change your mind down the road.
