Photoshop cc 2015 crashes on layer name change

Hi,
At least once a day PS crashes while naming a layer.
Any ideas as to why?

Did you install the CC 2015.0.1 update?
Double check in Help->System Info to make sure you have the update installed.

Yes, working with creative cloud so Photoshop is always up to date.

Crashing in "unknown" means something fairly odd has happened.
That could mean a driver unloading, but drivers shouldn't be involved for layer name changes. But an automation plugin, or something like Generator could be involved when you change the name of a layer.

Try disabling all third party plugins and extension panels. If that doesn't work, then disable Generator in Photoshop's preferences.
