Photoshop: Prompts on wrong monitor

I use Photoshop successfully on my second monitor.  However, any "prompts" such as completion of an action, clicking OK or Cancel, appear on my FIRST monitor.  This is extremely annoying, as it's out of my view on my large 2nd monitor, and I don't always see it.

I often have multiple OTHER windows open on the first monitor.  Please make dialog boxes appear on the primary Photoshop screen, or offer the choice of where to open dialogs, rather than arbitrarily assuming it should be on monitor 1, even when I'm using monitor 2.  Or remember where I move the dialog and use the remembered location.

As a programmer, I know this is entirely within your control.   Thank you.

Photoshop should open prompts on the primary monitor. You can drag prompts to a secondary monitor and all subsequent prompts will show up on the secondary monitor. If you drag a prompt to your primary monitory and accept/dismiss it, does the next prompt shop up in the right spot?

If I drag a prompt to the second monitor, which occurs at the end of an action I've installed, it continues to display on the primary monitory in subsequent usage.  :-(

Dragging it to desired monitor, clicking OK, then closing & reopening Photoshop in an attempt to SAVE the current "layout" does not "remember" the desired location. :-(

It actually worked to drag to desired location for one dialog on a different action I've installed, but not in general.

Thanks for responding.  If you want to see in a live assist/screen share session, I'm happy to reproduce for you and let you look at settings.

Thanks. It seems only dialogs and not alerts follow the rule where they remember where they were last displayed.

disappointing, but I surmised as much.  Thank you for answering.  I would help to forward this to the programming team.  Thanks.

Not entirely true. ALL my dialog boxes pop up on the wrong monitor.
