Lightroom/Camera Raw: Profiles aren't recognized

Hi there. Until recently, I was able to use my imported VSCO Film presets and profiles without issue. But sometime in the last month, it seems like LRCC 2.1.1 has lost track of the VSCO camera/film profiles.

When I apply a VSCO preset to a RAW file on desktop, it uses the Adobe Color profile, not the matching film profile. When I pull down the profile menu, I see some of my custom profiles, but none of the VSCO ones. On mobile, they're also not visible.

However, if I open a previously edited RAW from the same camera, from a few months ago, the associated profiles do appear in the edit pane.

I've tried to manually re-import the .dcp files, but LRCC complains that they've already been imported. Sure enough, if I drill down into my .lrlibrary folders, the profiles files are there. So it seems like the issue is that LRCC can't/won't display or use the profiles that it's already got in the library.

What's my best course of action here? Thanks!

There's a few things that could be going on.

1) Did the RAW files in question come from a different camera than you have used in the past, in the time this started happening? When VSCO doesn't support a certain camera model, the profiles won't show up. If this is the case you can still apply VSCO presets from the ACR presets pane (as opposed to the "Profile" selector), but keep in mind the presets applied in this manner are not as "smart" as the Profile method of doing things. i.e. you will get vastly different results between the two methods for the same VSCO film type.

2) Each time Adobe Camera Raw gets an update, you should expect to see a potential update from VSCO. At least in theory this could be one point of failure.

3) And now for a public service announcement - a few weeks back VSCO announced it will stop supporting and selling its profiles for desktop apps

4) LRCC could have a bug in which case you've come to the right place
