Elements 12: Problems with CREATE option uploading to Shutterfly

I created an 8x8 photobook using the CREATE option through Elements. When I uploaded the completed book, there were problems because the 8x8 pages were not the size expected by Shutterfly. How do I resolve this problem other than never using the CREATE option again?

Chris,

Since you are looking at the problem, I will provide more information.

The two page spread for an 8x8 page is 15.5inches wide x 8" high with guides placed at 1/2" around perimeter. Upon choosing ORDER, photoshop creates the two JPG pages needed by shutterfly for this spread. Each page is created at 8 inches wide, which is 16 inches. What that means is that there is 1/2 inch of each page that is the same. These overlap. This overlap shows when previewing in Shutterfly. And, I am told by those at Shutterfly, that this will show in my photobook.

Shutterfly expects the single pages to be 7.95 x 7.95 inches (versus the 8x8) And, their templates provide a 3/16" guide around the perimeter (which would include an allowance of 3/8" at the crease .... not the 1/2" that photoshop has created in the above steps.)

I have added an image so that you can see what it looks like after the upload to shutterfly. Note the "repeat" area on the right hand side. (I appreciate your help resolving this problem.)
