I am teaching photoshop CC at the college level. I am using the photoshop cc classroom in book. Chapter 5 has several issues. First, the iris blur is not located under blur selection, but rather gallery blur in the cc version. Secondly, the merge to HDR pro is not located in automate in the cc version. Finally, there is a big glitch in activity 5E in the auto align/blend operation. It is not working in the cc version. It does not do the masking correctly. As a teacher, I expect my book to be updated as well as the software analyzed for problems. I was training myself with projects in photoshop 6, so I did not realize these problems existed until I was presenting the chapter to my students. Please resolve these issues. You should also notify people who have purchased this book about these issues. I will keep you updated should I find more problems in the future.

Unfortunately, we've moved things around a little in Photoshop CC and CC 2014 intermediate releases. So what was written about Photoshop 14.0 may not find things in the exact same place in Photoshop 14.2.

Now, Merge to HDR Pro is still under File->Automate in Photoshop CCC 2014.

And yes, the Blur Gallery filter section was added because otherwise the Blur menu was getting a bit long when we added more Blur Gallery options.

The AutoAlign/Blend issues were fixed in a later release -- please make sure you have all the updates installed and are using the latest version (CC 2014.2 aka 15.2.2).
