PhotoshopCC 2017.1: Unable to save and close Photoshop

Ok so I updated to the newest version 2017.1 and started noticing photoshop was running slower. I was done working in it, saved my work and went to exit the program when it kept asking me to save changes on the file i was working on in order to exit. I continued to select no but photoshop would never close. I tried to select yes and save this bogus file as a name it turned into this cycle of not wanting to close. The only way i could close photoshop is to open task manager and close it from there. This update has really slowed photoshop down.

Hi Aaron,

Have you tried resetting your preferences?  You can do that from the General tab of preferences - just click the Reset Prefs button and quit and re-launch PS.  Does that help overall performance?  If not, I have some other troubleshooting steps I'd like you to try.

Thanks,
Adam
