Hi, Why am I not able to see previews of some tiff files in Bridge, while other show up all right; it does nor matter if it is small og large, masked and with mulitiple layers or not. What is the problem, and how can I solve it? JW

What version of Bridge?
What OS version?
Where can I find one of these files that doesn't show a preview?

I am working on mac, OS X 10.9.2
But, I can now see it is only a problem i Bridge CS6, not in Bridge CC.
However, since I am still using Bridge CS6 together with Indesign CS6 for a certain assignment (for making Notebook-IWB-files - the plugg-in only comes for ID6), it would be helpful, if mine tiff files would show also in Bridge CS6.

Bridge CS4 reads the embedded JPEG thumbnail, and gets partial metadata - that's weird by itself.
Bridge CS5 does the same as CS4.

Bridge CS6 doesn't read any of the file. Hmm, it appears to be choking on some of the metadata and refuses to keep even the thumbnail after that failure. And it seems to have problems with lots of TIFF files.

Bridge CC reads the full file, with all the metadata.

Unfortunately Bridge CS6 is too old for us to fix.

My only suggestion for now is to use Bridge CC, or use PSD files instead of TIFF if you have to use Bridge CS6.
