Photoshop 12.0.4x64 (cs5) When I load big pictue (7000x7000px) and make Slice - Divide - Horizontally - 256px per slice and vertically - 256px per slice, (here is map, I make slices for custom map in Google Map script), it nothing works. And after 1-2 attempts, the program freezes.

What OS are you on?

If you disable "OpenGL Drawing" under Preferences>Performance... and restart the app, does the problem go away?

The OS is Win7 x64 Ultimate. When I disable OpenGL drawind, freezes not stopped. You can follow my steps: Slices - Divide - put the check, Horizontally, 256 px per slice. Vertically checkbox is not checked. Ok. Once again, open the Divide, Horizontally don't check, check Vertically, try to write a 256px per slice, and Photoshop freezes.

If I check both checkboxes and write 256px per slice here and there, it draws only 256px horizontal slices, vertical slices are rectangular, so large, not squares. See pic.
