Use colorpicker --> background is #f8f8f8 ?

I hope you mean the color profile? It's sRGB IEC61966-2.1 :)

No, document color mode is what he asked for. But it sounds like you are in RGB.

But were you picking colors by RGB, HSB, LAB, gray, etc. ?
The full precision values may need to be converted into your current document color mode, and that can show values off by a bit if a conversion is needed.
